Each restoration is made in respect of the ethics and of deontology of the restorers.

 

« … to preserve and reveal the aesthetic, historic and scientific values of the itemrespecting the former substance … To replace missing parts, the new elements must be harmoniously integrated into the  body but should be distinguishable from the original, in order that the restoration doesn't falsify the specimen … the reversibility of the procedure…» 

 

A  close collaboration between the client and the restorer is essential to accurately define the work to be performed according to the goal and the means and  respecting the deontology.

 

An index card or a record file of the restoration will be created to ensure the traceability of the specimen.
